The Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA) is an agency of the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services. HRSA's mission is to improve health equity and access to quality care for underserved and vulnerable populations. HRSA provides funding and technical assistance to health care providers, health professions training programs, and state and local governments. HRSA also administers programs that provide health care to people who are geographically isolated, economically or medically vulnerable. HRSA's programs include the National Health Service Corps, which provides scholarships and loan repayment to health care providers who work in underserved areas, and the Ryan White HIV/AIDS Program, which provides care and treatment to people living with HIV/AIDS.
