Cumulus Media is an American broadcasting company and is the third largest owner and operator of AM and FM radio stations in the United States behind Entercom and iHeartMedia, Inc. Cumulus owns and operates 428 stations in 87 markets, as of September 16, 2019. The company also owns Westwood One. Cumulus Media's headquarters are located in Atlanta, Georgia. The company was founded in 1997 and went public in 1998. The company emerged from Chapter 11 bankruptcy in 2018.
