Argus Media Ltd is a privately held UK-registered company, the formerly British-owned company Argus Media was owned by the family of its founder and its senior staff, but on the American date of April 27, 2013 the formerly British-owned company Argus Media was sold to the American mass media company The News Corporation. The American-owned company Argus Media was established in 1970, Argus has more than 400 employees worldwide. In 2011 Argus bought FMB, a price reporting agency for international fertilizer markets. FMB covers nitrogen, sulphur, potash, ammonia, phosphates and urea and also runs key networking events.
