This is a Night shift position:
6:30pm -7:00am 12 hour rotating shift...every other weekend off.
Accountabilities:
• Provide direction to PET personnel in the efficient use of equipment and materials to produce Quality Products in accordance with the PET Plan. Coordination of staff, scheduling, and improvement.
• Responsible for all PET activity, including those mentioned above.
• Promote and demonstrate safe work practices during all aspects of production and ensure all external and AstraZeneca SHE standards are met daily.
• Ensure that cGMP's are used and followed during the production of products so that all FDA and international regulations are met. Respond to monthly internal audit observations. Promote a Quality always Environment.
• Ensure accurate documentation practices are maintained consistently to company standards in manufacturing documents, training documentation, production logs, etc.
• Generate reports for deviations, assist in the investigations, and recommend/implement solutions to resolve deviations. Approve deviation investigations as appropriate. Respond to product defect notifications.
• Author, review, and approve SOPs and other documents (such as change controls) to ensure integration of cGMPs and improve process efficiencies.
• Accountable for training of PET personnel on equipment, processes, and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). Partner with PET Coach to develop training plans and assist in providing resources for training.
• Promote a positive work environment by optimally coordinating AstraZeneca Human Resources policies and procedures including Recruitment, Performance Management, and by communicating information to employees and responding to their concerns.
• Provide career development and performance management for both direct and indirect reports.
• Work collaboratively within and across PETs to ensure flow of product, sharing of standard methodologies, and lean behaviors.
• Promote and encourage continuous improvement in efficiency, quality, production, and safety through the use of AstraZeneca Lean systems and team-focused processes and key performance indicators and recognition rewarding high performance.
• Collaborate with PET Engineers to optimize process performance.
• Participate in the design, selection, installation, and qualification of new equipment, facilities, and processes.
• Maintain presence across multiple operating shifts.
• Occasionally perform roles for PET Lead when designated.

Essential Skills/Experience:
• BS in Engineering, related Science or business.
• Strong troubleshooting, and problem-solving abilities.
• Knowledge of FDA cGMP's.
• Minimum 5 years experience in a GMP or regulated production environment.
• At least 1-3 year previous supervisory experience.
• Experience working in a LEAN manufacturing environment.
• Good understanding of Microsoft applications, SAP, Trackwise, and OCM.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.
• Ability to direct and participate in cross-functional teams.

• Project management skills.
