A Technical Product Manager is closely related to the product manager. While the product manager deals with all outfacing strategies and issues, the technical product manager looks inward, utilizing technical acumen to communicate with design and engineering experts on particular aspects of the product, such as capabilities and features. Company size and product complexities can lead to both a product manager and technical product manager working at one company. Qualifications include strong related experience, robust technical understanding and a related bachelor’s degree.
