Careers in Quality Assurance

Quality Assurance professionals use a variety of techniques and skills to assure the quality of products and/or service delivery for a company. These include flow charting, cost-benefit analysis, control charts, statistical sampling, cost of quality (COQ) and more. All management processes are driven by the goal of streamlining and enhancing productivity while maintaining quality. As opposed to quality control, the quality assurance specialist is involved during the process, rather than checking it later. Qualifications for a quality assurance analyst include a bachelor’s degree in a related field.
