Careers in Electrical Engineering

Electrical Engineers are highly skilled professionals who manipulate electricity, with results that most of us take for granted. Physics, electronics and electromagnetism are central elements of expertise needed in this career. From house lights to heating to computers, the work of electrical engineers is at play. The design, building and maintenance of electrical control systems, machinery and more are daily duties, with skills spilling over into disciplines such as civil and mechanical engineering. Qualifications include a bachelor’s in electrical engineering, ideally accredited by ABET, FE exam and PE exam.
