Careers in Business Intelligence & Analytics

Business Intelligence and Analytics experts are often thought of interchangeably for one reason: data. The combination of technologies and data to create robust business strategies is a proven formula. From data mining, reporting, analytical processing, process mining, to performance management and more, experts within the disciplines can be defined by differing goals: BI seeks to inform better decision-making, while BA is essentially about meeting strategic objectives. Because of this, they exist hand-in-hand. Qualifications for either career are broad, but would ideally include either an MS in business intelligence or in business analytics.
