Business Analysts define businesses needs and recommend solutions, which are usually acted on. Building strategies requires analysis and the ability to project forward. Understanding key business objectives and expectations before defining the scope of key projects is critical. With scope defined, it must be communicated clearly to those whose team workflows will be built around it. Considering the technical implications of a solution is also critical. Qualifications are therefore decided by the hiring business. A master’s degree in business administration, for example, and experience in the industry being aimed at could be required.
