Full Job Description
Role Scope
  • Run the facility ergonomics program: conduct job hazard analyses and ergonomic assessments using NIOSH, RULA, and REBA methodologies, and drive workstation redesigns that cut musculoskeletal disorder risk.
  • Plan and oversee industrial hygiene testing, including baseline and periodic exposure monitoring for noise, chemical vapors, and dusts, and interpret results against OSHA PELs, NIOSH RELs, and ACGIH TLVs.
  • Administer the PPE hazard assessment and respiratory protection program across the shop floor, including fit testing and medical clearance tracking.
  • Own the industrial hygiene budget and manage third-party IH labs and consultants, and manage and develop the occupational health specialists assigned to the program.
  • Collaborate with Industrial Engineering on line balancing and rotation schedules to minimize repetitive-motion exposure, and report ergonomic ROI metrics to plant leadership.

What We're Looking For

The below is a starting point. We always make space for exceptional people, so if you don't fit this role exactly, tell us where you would.
  • You've run a job hazard analysis and ergonomics program using NIOSH, RULA, or REBA methodologies, and turned findings into workstation redesigns that actually shipped.
  • You've designed and executed industrial hygiene sampling plans, including noise dosimetry and air sampling for vapors and particulates, and interpreted results against OSHA PELs, NIOSH RELs, or ACGIH TLVs.
  • You hold a technical background in industrial hygiene, occupational health, or a related science or engineering field, because interpreting exposure data and setting controls depends on it.
  • You've managed and developed occupational health or IH specialists, or owned the vendor relationships and budget for an IH program.
  • You've administered a respiratory protection and PPE hazard assessment program in a manufacturing environment, including fit testing and medical clearance tracking.
  • You've worked directly with industrial engineers on line balancing or rotation schedules to cut repetitive-motion exposure. You track improvement projects to ROI, not just completion, and report those numbers to leadership on a set cadence.
  • You track improvement projects to ROI, not just completion, and report those numbers to leadership on a set cadence.
  • Bonus: Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH), held or actively pursuing. Certified Professional Ergonomist (CPE) or equivalent. Workers' compensation claims management experience. Familiarity with ISO 45001 management systems.

Compensation: $105,000 - $140,000 per year, depending on experience, skills, qualifications, and location. Offers equity in the form of stock options.

We are committed to pay equity and transparency.
