This is a hands-on, white-glove service role for someone with strong hospitality instincts, sharp attention to detail, and a proactive approach to anticipating needs before they arise. The Workplace Experience Manager will oversee daily office operations, support the Workplace Experience Lead's priorities, and continuously identify ways to improve the NYC office experience.

Responsibilities
  • Serve as the primary on-site Workplace Experience representative for the NYC office, ensuring employees and guests feel welcomed, supported, and cared for.
  • Oversee daily office operations across six floors, conducting regular walkthroughs to ensure supplies, groceries, mail, deliveries, equipment, storage, shared spaces, and overall office functionality are polished, organized, clean, safe, and well-maintained.
  • Manage vendor relationships, service requests, contracts, and office expenses within established guidelines, coordinating with partners including building maintenance, security, couriers, repair technicians, electricians, caterers, and office porters.
  • Partner with the Receptionist on front desk operations, including visitors, calls, office email, conference room scheduling, and mail and package handling.
  • Facilitate office onboarding for new hires and interns, including desk setup, equipment readiness, office tours, introductions, security badges, and lifecycle support in partnership with HR.
  • Provide day-to-day direction to the NYC Receptionist, office porters, and any Workplace Experience interns.
  • Support office events, lunches, team dinners, staff gatherings, and programming that builds community, culture, and employee well-being.
  • Partner with IT, People Ops, HR, and cross-functional teams to support troubleshooting, employee feedback, onboarding, and evolving workplace needs.
  • Support workplace procedures, playbooks, health and safety initiatives, space planning, FF&E procurement, and office build-outs as directed by the Workplace Experience Lead.
  • Additional tasks and ad hoc projects and requests as assigned.

What We're Looking For
  • 4+ years of experience in workplace experience, office management, facilities, or hospitality operations, ideally in a creative, media, or fast-paced professional environment.
  • A genuine hospitality mindset, you understand what white glove service means in practice and bring that standard to every touchpoint, from a guest's first impression to the day-to-day details of the office environment.
  • Proven ability to manage a large, multi-floor office environment with competing priorities and a high bar for quality.
  • Solid vendor management, contract oversight, and facilities coordination experience.
  • Strong organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail, you don't let things fall through the cracks.
  • Comfort operating in an execution-forward role within a team structure, with strong instincts for when to act independently and when to escalate.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, warm, reliable, and the kind of person people trust to get things done.
  • Proficiency with Google Calendar and comfort with or willingness to learn workplace tools including space management platforms and ticketing systems.
  • Experience providing day-to-day direction to junior staff, interns, or temps is a plus.
  • Low ego, high follow-through, you take ownership seriously, collaborate well upward and across, and are genuinely energized by execution.

Our target salary range for this role is between $80,000-$100,000. We do not use formal job titles internally and similarly named positions may have different compensation levels.
