Position Summary

Orlando Health is seeking a Workforce Insights & Strategy Manager to transform complex workforce data into actionable insights that shape the organization's engagement, retention, and broader workforce strategies to attract, develop, and retain top talent. This position integrates quantitative and qualitative information from multiple sources, including employee engagement surveys, turnover and retention data, recruiting metrics, employee feedback, exit data, and operational measures to identify meaningful patterns and opportunities for improvement.

What you will do
  • Analyze and synthesize workforce data from multiple sources, including engagement surveys, turnover and retention data, recruiting metrics, workforce demographics, exit data, and operational measures.
  • Translate complex workforce data into clear, actionable insights.
  • Develop evidence-based recommendations by connecting multiple data sources into cohesive stories that support strategic decision-making.
  • Identify significant trends, relationships, risks, and opportunities across locations, departments, employee populations, and stages of the employee lifecycle.
  • Diagnose workforce challenges by investigating root causes and applying trend analysis, segmentation, benchmarking, and other analytical methods to identify key drivers of engagement and retention.
  • Develop enterprise-wide and population-specific insights that inform engagement and retention priorities and support targeted organizational strategies.
  • Lead the analysis of employee-listening data from enterprise engagement surveys, pulse surveys, lifecycle surveys, and other employee-feedback channels and identify relationships among employee sentiment, engagement, retention, and other organizational outcomes.
  • Recommend enhancements to employee-listening strategies, including survey design, analytical approaches, reporting, and action-planning processes.
  • Tailor workforce insights and communications to the needs different stakeholders, ranging from operational leaders to executive leadership.
  • Partner with HR leaders, operational leaders, HR Business Partners, and Centers of Excellence to translate workforce insights into targeted, measurable engagement and retention strategies and action plans.
  • Define success measures and establish appropriate baselines, targets, and monitoring approaches for engagement and retention initiatives.
  • Monitor progress against engagement and retention goals, providing leaders with timely insights into areas of improvement, emerging risk, or continued concern.
  • Execute and manage day-to-day activities as assigned.
  • Maintains reasonably regular, punctual attendance consistent with Orlando Health policies, the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state, and local standards.
  • Maintains compliance with all Orlando Health policies and procedures
  • Advanced analytical reasoning and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong ability to connect disparate data points and identify trends and patterns.
  • Knowledge of workforce analytics, employee engagement, retention, organizational behavior, and employee listening practices.
  • Understanding of survey methodology, statistical concepts, data segmentation, and responsible interpretation.
  • Excellent written, verbal, presentation, and facilitation skills.
  • Strong business acumen and ability to connect workforce outcomes with organizational priorities.
  • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel.
  • Proficiency with data-visualization or business-intelligence platforms such as Microsoft Power BI or similar.
  • Experience with employee-listening platforms.
  • Proficiency developing executive-level presentations.
