What You'll Do- Manage a full caseload of workers' compensation defense cases with varying levels of complexity.
- Develop litigation strategies and case plans.
- Prepare budgets and case management plans when needed.
- Conduct discovery and analyze case information.
- Draft motions, briefs, correspondence, and other legal documents.
- Prepare cases for hearings and trials.
- Represent clients during court appearances and legal proceedings.
- Negotiate effectively with opposing counsel and involved parties.
- Maintain strong communication with clients throughout the litigation process.
What You Need- Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree.
- Active California Bar admission.
- 5+ years of experience defending workers' compensation cases.
- Strong litigation, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Ability to independently manage a full caseload.
