The Workday Payroll and Expense Systems Administrator supports and maintains Workday HCM with emphasis on Payroll and Expenses, partnering with Payroll, Finance, and cross0functional stakeholders to ensure effective system performance. Workday Financial System Administrator experience is a plus

Job Summary:
Researches innovative idea solutions, consistently looking at 9what is new, and getting connected in the Workday community for best practices around what is best for the employee experience. Performs complex configuration to transform and optimize Workday processes to continually improve the end user experience.
Job Responsibilities and Requirements:
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
0Leads discovery, design and customer confirmation and optimization sessions, demonstrates and explains complex functionality or solutions to functional subject matter experts.
0Observes manual and automated processes on a regular cycle for opportunities to streamline, eliminate risk, and or close gaps.
0Works with the team to continuously improve solutions, processes, procedures, documentation standards, etc.0 Ensures delivery of project deliverables and documentation.
0Reviews and provides recommendations to ensure processes are scalable and easily maintained.
0Coaches client during business process design, offering options, risks, and downstream impacts related to decisions.
0Configures the Workday system per client business requirements and Workday standards.
0Demonstrates computational thinking. Identifies problem components, analyzes patterns, removes inefficient configurations or processes, and constructs algorithmic solutions scalable to ongoing client needs.
0Provides alignment and collaboration with project leadership 0 proactively communicating project risks and issues.
0Ensures functional solutions are compatible with downstream data translation (assists integrators in configuring/testing integrations between Workday and external systems).
0Ensures excellent customer focus, able to assess customer needs, build relationships and manage customer expectations.0 Knows when to push back, when to escalate, and when to go above and beyond to satisfy a customer.
0Performs other duties as assigned.

0Bachelor0s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
EXPERIENCE
0Five years0 experience
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
0Hands0on Workday experience with strong focus on HCM, and demonstrated exposure to Payroll and Expenses modules
0Approximately 5+ years of Workday experience, with the ability to contribute quickly and independently
0Experience working across multiple Workday modules (beyond HCM) to support cross0training and coverage within the team
0Payroll experience is highly preferred due to a current business gap and close partnership with the Payroll team
0Financials exposure is a strong plus but not required
0Workday certifications are preferred but not required; practical experience is prioritized, with training available for certification if desired
0Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively, share knowledge, and partner effectively with COEs and cross0functional stakeholders
0Comfortable working in a fully remote, team0based environment with minimal siloed work
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
0Frequent lifting/carrying and pushing/pulling objects weighing 0-25 lbs.
0Frequent sitting, standing, walking, reaching and repetitive foot/leg and hand/arm movements.
0Frequent use of vision and depth perception for distances near (20 inches or less) and far (20 feet or more) and to identify and distinguish colors.
0Frequent use of hearing and speech to share information through oral communication. Ability to hear alarms, malfunctioning machinery, etc.
0Frequent keyboard use/data entry.
0Occasional bending, stooping, kneeling, squatting, twisting and gripping.
0Occasional lifting/carrying and pushing/pulling objects weighing 25-50 lbs.
