Workday HCM Administrator - Recruiting

Days - Full Time

Position Summary / Career Interest:
The Analyst, HR Technology is responsible for the design, implementation and administration of HR Technology, primarily Workday, to support the strategic objectives of the health system. Partner closely with HR Centers of Excellence and business leaders across the organization to assist with process-related and reporting-related matters, including designing, implementing and managing reports and processes in Workday and other HR systems that support our business and Human Resource needs.

Responsibilities and Essential Job Functions
  • Develop, schedule and execute reports in Workday and other HR systems. Provide data analysis and recommendations as part of monthly and ad-hoc reports.
  • Create custom/ad-hoc reports in Workday and other HR Systems as needed to meet business needs and objectives, often combining data from multiple sources to achieve desired results.
  • Provide technical support and serve as a subject matter expert, providing training to educate system end-users on how to navigate and use the system. Help clients resolve reporting issues requiring in-depth expertise in the Workday solution and in other HR systems.
  • Research, troubleshoot and resolve production issues by leveraging best practices and developing long-standing solutions. Focus on identifying trends, determining root cause of problems, predicting future implications and determining solutions to drive effective business decisions.
  • Complete new configurations to tenant set-up. Maintain and develop Workday integrations.
  • Perform batch uploads and extractions of data employing transformations and calculated fields.
  • Manage Workday major release impact on configurations and integrations identifying risks and opportunities for enhancements.
  • Assist in the troubleshooting of mass data loads in Workday (EIBs).
  • Conduct regular audits to ensure data integrity.
  • Proactively identify and assist in prioritizing opportunities to streamline business and/or system processes.
  • Must be able to perform the professional, clinical and or technical competencies of the assigned unit or department.

Required Education and Experience
  • Bachelors Degree in Human Resources, Business, Information Systems, Computer Science or related field from an accredited college or university.
  • 3 or more years of experience supporting HRIS in several of the following modules: HCM, Payroll, Benefits, Recruiting, Talent/Performance Management.
  • 2 or more years of report writing experience with enterprise reporting tools for ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or PeopleSoft reporting tools, SQL).
  • Experience with configuring benefits, payroll, compensation, time off, reporting and security.
  • Experience partnering with stakeholders to understand business requirements, program needs, and demonstrated ability to translate those into realistic and innovative technology and process solutions.

Preferred Education and Experience
  • Prior Workday experience.

Required Language Skills
  • Fluent English - Read, write and speak English.

Knowledge Requirements
  • Excellent written, oral and interpersonal communications skills.
  • Knowledge of building reports for HRMS and experience with development and delivery of HR metrics/dashboards.
  • Solid knowledge of HR systems, structure, functions and processes.
  • High proficiency in all Microsoft products with proven ability to learn technology quickly through instruction and self-training.
