Full Job Description
This is a Lead Technical Product Owner position at Vice President level, which is part of the job family responsible for defining the product vision, prioritizing features, and ensuring the successful delivery of high-quality technical solutions.

What you'll do in the role:

This role requires a seasoned technical product owner, who can help us deliver on Technology Architecture program governance and long-term quality and release vision for WM Architecture programs. You will be responsible for architecture policy uplift across internal tech program teams, to enable high quality software release in production environments. This position requires the ability to have a strong focus on policy controls & enforcement, build transparency around controls reporting and communicate effectively across geographically diverse teams.

You will also lead a team of engineers to deliver IT systems that enable effective data driven governance and modernization accelerator frameworks, used by engineering teams across WM. Your team will drive best practices and leverage AI tools, to deliver application frameworks, that enforce organic adoption & standardization of best practices and standards recommended by WM Architecture

What you'll bring to the role:
  • Having a mindset for continuous process improvement is critical, as we will expect the Program Manager to improve our current processes.
  • Overall experience between 15-20 years. Depth of skills should be proportional to experience.
  • Hands-on experience with IT project delivery and Program Governance
  • Well-developed business and requirements analysis skills, including good communication abilities (both speaking and listening) and stakeholder management (senior CXO leadership levels).
  • Experience of developing and managing architecture governance processes.
  • Demonstrated project planning and management skills, leading large cross-functional projects from definition to launch
  • Agile coaching and practitioner experience (Scrum, Kanban) with multiple teams
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with competing and alternating priorities with a constant focus on delivery
  • Proven ability to balance business demands and IT fulfilment in terms of standardization, reducing risk and increasing IT flexibility.
  • Background in an enterprise role in business, operations / change management, compliance reporting and ability to influence strategic decision-makers and functional stakeholders. Roles & Responsibilities
  • Support WM Enterprise architecture team with planning and execution of the architecture governance function.
  • Track governance reviews, next steps and drive accountability with action plan owners.
  • Provide reporting to senior leadership and regulators on compliance to Architecture control function, highlight Open risks.
  • Collaborate with Enterprise architecture policy control and governance teams. Provide divisional inputs on improving architecture controls, policy rationalization and building on synergies across other divisions in the firm.
  • Develop strong partnerships with engineering and product management leaders to drive focus on strategic and tactical program objectives. Build strategic relationships with key technology and business leaders to ensure program success.
  • Drive teams and individuals in planning and executing roadmaps, releases, work backlogs and track tasks to target completion.
  • Lead efforts to identify risks, resolve key project conflicts, and establish appropriate resolution paths
  • Fill in gaps across roles and functions as needed, performing as an adaptive problem solver
  • Provide reporting as necessary on project status, risks, issues and mitigation plans. Create a collaborative work environment that fosters shared understanding, transparency, autonomy, innovation and continuous learning.
  • Coach and mentor others in the best practices of modern planning and execution
