Full Job Description
West Kings District High School is situated in Auburn, Kings County and it includes Grades nine (9) to twelve (12). The school has a projected 45.25 full time equivalent teaching positions and a projected enrollment of 748 students for the [redacted] school year. The Principal is expected to provide instructional leadership ensuring that the Public Schools Program and curriculum are implemented to maximize student learning. The Principal is also responsible for the orderly operation of the school. The Principal will be a member and will follow the PSAANS Terms and Conditions.
Qualifications and Abilities:
Previous successful school administration experience is preferred.
Demonstrated successful instructional leadership at the high school level is preferred.
Minimum of five (5) years exemplary teaching experience in a public school.
A Master's of Education Degree in instructional/educational leadership or its equivalent is preferred preferred.
