Wiz Security Process Lead
The Opportunity:

Designs, implements, integrates, and maintains cloud security processes, systems and tools to automate complex cyber activities. Applies advanced skills, extensive technical expertise, and full industry knowledge. Develops innovative solutions to complex problems. Works without considerable direction; mentors and may supervise team members. Leads the development and continuous improvement of security workflows, remediation processes, escalation paths, standard operating procedures, playbooks, service-level expectations, and governance processes supporting Wiz and related cloud security capabilities. Partners with cloud engineering, security operations, compliance, DevSecOps, application, and system-owner teams to operationalize security findings and drive vulnerabilities and exposures through remediation and closure.

You Have
  • 5+ years of experience in cloud security, cybersecurity operations, security engineering, or vulnerability management
  • 5+ years of experience deploying, configuring, and administering Wiz in large, complex, multi-cloud environments
  • Experience with CNAPP or CSPM tools such as Palo Alto Cortex, Prisma Cloud, or Microsoft Defender for Cloud
  • Experience defining security workflows, remediation processes, escalation paths, SOPs, playbooks and operating procedures, including remediation ownership, prioritization criteria, escalation timelines, exception processes, and performance metrics
  • Experience supporting security tooling within federal environments
  • Experience as a platform engineer, integrating security tools with SIEM/SOAR, ticketing systems, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud services
  • Knowledge of cloud security posture, vulnerability management, identity risk, and DevSecOps workflows
  • Ability to implement, operationalize, and maintain enterprise cloud security policies and governance controls
  • Ability to automate tooling and workflows via APIs, Terraform, or scripting
  • Bachelor's degree


Nice If You Have:
  • Experience with vulnerability management, cloud security posture management, identity entitlement management, or attack-path remediation programs
  • Wiz certification preferred
  • CISSP, CCSP, Security+, AWS Security Specialty, Microsoft Azure Security Engineer, or comparable cloud security certification preferred

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $86,800.00 to $198,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees. This posting will close within 90 days from the Posting Date.
