Overview
  • Chenega Naswik International, LLC is seeking an experienced and strategic Wiser Warehousing and Airlift Program Manager to support the Department of State's Office of Logistics and Overseas Buildings Operations worldwide. This position is responsible for providing expert guidance on warehouse design, property management, logistics operations, and airlift planning while supporting global warehouse modernization and efficiency initiatives.
  • The ideal candidate is a recognized subject matter expert with extensive experience in warehouse operations, supply chain management, and logistics planning. This role requires strong leadership, analytical expertise, and the ability to collaborate with government stakeholders to improve operational effectiveness, reduce costs, and support mission-critical logistics requirements worldwide.
Responsibilities
  • Provide strategic leadership and subject matter expertise for worldwide warehouse operations and modernization initiatives.
  • Advise Department of State personnel on warehouse design, facility utilization, inventory management, and operational best practices.
  • Support the identification, evaluation, and sourcing of warehouse facilities for overseas operations.
  • Develop recommendations to improve warehouse efficiency, space utilization, and property management programs.
  • Provide guidance on warehouse layouts, materials handling equipment, storage systems, and operational workflows.
  • Analyze warehousing requirements and develop data-driven recommendations to support mission requirements.
  • Lead warehouse improvement initiatives and support overseas locations in implementing best practices.
  • Develop and deliver training programs, workshops, presentations, and educational materials related to warehouse operations and logistics management.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert for airlift planning and aircraft ground handling equipment requirements supporting government operations and international events.
  • Conduct assessments of warehouse operations and recommend process improvements, policy updates, and operational enhancements.
  • Collaborate with government personnel, contractors, and stakeholders to improve supply chain efficiency and logistics performance.
  • Support strategic initiatives focused on operational excellence, cost containment, and warehouse footprint reduction.

Qualifications
  • Minimum of twenty (20) years of warehouse management, warehouse design, or logistics operations experience.
  • Extensive knowledge of warehouse operations, storage systems, inventory management, and supply chain processes.
  • Experience supporting aerodrome operations, warehousing activities, and aircraft ground handling operations.
  • Minimum of five (5) years of experience supporting Department of State furniture pool management and post warehouse operations.
  • Experience managing large-scale warehouse projects, facility implementations, and logistics initiatives.
  • Experience developing and delivering training programs for warehouse and logistics personnel.
  • Demonstrated ability to evaluate operational effectiveness, efficiency, customer satisfaction, and regulatory compliance.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain any required security clearance.
  • Successfully pass background and drug screening

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience supporting Department of State logistics and overseas operations.
  • Experience developing warehouse optimization strategies and regional logistics support models.
  • Experience conducting logistics assessments and leading operational improvement initiatives.
  • Experience with supply chain modernization, inventory optimization, and warehouse automation technologies.

  • Expert knowledge of warehouse operations, facility design, inventory management, materials handling, and global supply chain best practices.
  • Extensive knowledge of Department of State logistics operations, overseas warehousing programs, and property management practices.
  • Strong understanding of aerodrome operations, aircraft ground handling equipment, and airlift logistics planning requirements.
  • Ability to analyze complex logistics and warehousing challenges and develop practical, cost-effective solutions.
  • Experience developing and implementing warehouse improvement initiatives, process enhancements, and operational efficiency programs.
  • Knowledge of warehouse storage systems, materials handling equipment, hazardous material storage requirements, and inventory control practices.
  • Ability to develop, evaluate, and recommend policies, procedures, and operational standards that support mission requirements and organizational objectives.
  • Strong leadership, consulting, stakeholder engagement, and customer service skills with the ability to advise senior government officials and program leadership.
  • Excellent written, verbal, presentation, and training delivery skills, including the ability to develop and conduct workshops and instructional programs.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities, large-scale initiatives, and strategic logistics programs.
