Full Job Description
Wireless Telecommunications RAN Manger, TSC Construction LLC, Charlotte, NC. This is a hybrid role. May telecommute from within commuting distance to the Charlotte, NC office 1-2 days/week and work in the office 2-3 days/week. Plan, devise, build, configure and commission Wireless Networks and equipment for leading customers T-Mobile, ATT, and Verizon in Ericsson and Samsung OEM platforms. Perform Radio Access Integration for high profile sites (high visibility sites done directly with Wireless carrier clients). Maintain records on installation, issue resolution, and replacement equipment and parts to accurately report to customers; submit change orders accordingly. Hire, train, manage Radio Access Network (RAN) Engineers for each project's needs. Provide training to RAN Personnel and follow ongoing integration activities to verify quality. Oversee network integration systems and validate that work performed exceeds customer expectations. Accurately and effectively report milestones, scheduling and complex issues on remote face-to-face calls with customers daily. Compile and present in-depth reports to customers in high-profile troubleshooting situations. Work with software and application development engineers to improve automated report generation and useful field applications to improve efficiency. Provide software and application development for RAN tools and utilities used daily, hold daily calls and manage issues with Software Engineers. Hold conference calls with Field and RAN Engineers to provide resolution steps on high profile issues, including troubleshooting. Prepare and track budgets for the RAN department and provide reporting for each quarter of the realized margin. Supervise 5-10 employees (RAN Technician, RAN Engineer, Field Technician, Field Engineer, Construction Manager). Work M-F, 8am - 5pm with occasional weekends and overtime as required to complete projects per client deadlines. Requires a bachelor's or master's degree in Telecommunications, Communications and Electronics Engineering, Electronic Engineering, or related field or foreign equivalent. Requires with bachelor's five (5) years, if master's three (3) years: software and network integration experience to include (if bachelor's 5 years/ if master's 3 years): utilizing Radio Access Network integration (Ericsson, Verizon and T-Mobile Equipment); managing a team of 5-10 engineers and technicians; leading troubleshooting tasks and providing step-by-step resolution for projects; three (3) years (if bachelor's or master's): preparing and maintaining budgets for department or team.
