Overview/ Job ResponsibilitiesEntarian is looking for a Window Systems Administrator. The selected candidate will accomplish the following:
- Administers, develops, runs tests on, implements, and maintains the Windows operating system and related software.
- Establishes and implements standards for computer operations for compatibility between hardware and software, according to specifications and parameters.
- Troubleshoots and resolves software, operating system, and networking problems.
- Schedules, performs, and monitors system backups and, when necessary, performs data recoveries.
- Recommends hardware and software upgrades according to growth statistics and disk space forecasts.
- Schedules, plans, and performs system upgrades, including coordinating the transition from test to production environments.
- Schedules tasks using software support tools and scripts.
- Provides technical support for system users.
- Performs other duties as required.
Minimum Qualifications- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or relevant degree; without a Bachelor's degree, an additional 4 yrs experience will be required
- Experience with Windows System Administration
- Security + Certification
- CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENT: IAT Level I - one of the following: A+ CE, CCNA-Security, CND (Computer Network Defense), Network+CE, or SSCP.
- SECURITY CLEARANCE: Interim Secret
