Job Title: Whole Loan Analyst / Associate

Corporate Title: Analyst

Location: New York, NY

The pay range for this position at commencement of employment is expected to be between $70K and $95K/year * (see below footnote for additional compensation and benefits information).

Department Overview:

Nomura's Whole Loan Midde Office team is within the Operations / Middle Office group.

Role Description:
  • Familiarity with high volume mortgage products in the Whole Loan space
    • RTL - Residential Transition Loans / 'Fix and Flip'
    • Non QM - Non Qualified Mortgage
    • NPL/RPL - Non-Performing / Re-performing Loans
    • SBC - Small Balance Commercial
    • REO - Real Estate Owned Assets
  • Exposure to and knowledge of:
    • Servicer remittance processing
    • Loan Repurchase/EPD identification and processing
    • Excel
    • Reconciliations
  • Knowledge of below is a benefit:

    • LMS - Loan Management Platform
    • E-Notes


Skills, experience, qualifications and knowledge required:
  • 1+ years of experience
  • Bachelor's degree in finance or similar
  • Experience working in a trading environment and supporting whole loan trading desk
  • Strong attention to detail & multi-tasking skills
  • Strong organization skills and ability to adapt easily to the different functional needs of the business as it evolves
