About the Role:

The Director of Human Resources at westdrift will lead the strategic development and execution of all HR initiatives to support the organization's growth and operational excellence. This role is pivotal in shaping a positive workplace culture that aligns with westdrift's values and business objectives, ensuring employee engagement, retention, and development. The Director will oversee talent acquisition, performance management, employee relations, compensation and benefits, and compliance with employment laws. By partnering with senior leadership, this position will drive organizational change and foster an inclusive environment that promotes diversity and innovation. Ultimately, the Director of Human Resources will be responsible for building a high-performing workforce that contributes to westdrift's long-term success and competitive advantage.

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • At least 8 years of progressive experience in human resources management, including leadership roles.
  • Strong knowledge of labor relations, union practices, and collective bargaining agreements.
  • Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations in the United States.
  • Proven experience in talent acquisition, employee relations, and performance management.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Professional HR certification such as SHRM-SCP or SPHR.
  • Experience working in the hospitality or service industry.
  • Demonstrated success in leading diversity, equity, and inclusion programs.
  • Proficiency with HRIS systems and data analytics tools.
