  • Hire and train team members while managing Area Sales Representatives.

  • Generate and manage sales revenue to meet or exceed projections in the assigned territory.
  • Maintain relationships with established customers and identify new clients.
  • Communicate and strategize with the sales team on client needs and challenges.
  • Prepare and deliver strategic sales presentations and customer-specific proposals.
  • Collaborate with operations personnel to meet customer service expectations.
  • Evaluate market changes and competitor capabilities.
  • Assist in assessing creditworthiness and managing delinquent accounts.
  • Monitor and control expenses for Sales Representatives.
  • Conduct weekly/monthly forecasting and manage sales reporting.
  • Participate in yearly budget and strategic planning.
  • Act as a working Sales Manager with your own accounts while managing others.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Hiring additional resources to the team, providing training, managing Area Sales Representatives; Efficient and Productive assignment of accounts to Representatives
  • Monitor weekly sales call agendas and effectiveness of Sales Representatives
  • Generate & manage sales revenue to meet or exceed assigned sales projections by engaging in strategic sales and strategic sales management in the assigned territory
  • Maintain contact with an established customer base; identify and establish new clients
  • Communicate and strategize with sales team on all client-related needs, challenges, & issues
  • Prepare and deliver strategic, value-driven sales presentations and customer-specific proposals
  • Work with operations personnel to ensure customer service expectations are achieved
  • Evaluate market requirements, changes, and competitor capabilities
  • Assist in credit worthiness assessments and collection of all delinquent accounts
  • Monitor and control expenses for assigned group of Sales Reps
  • Must be well versed in product knowledge of all Tuboscope services and products
  • Weekly/Monthly forecasting, managing, and reporting of various product line Sales
  • Yearly Budget and strategy planning
  • Plan on being a Working Sales Manager- have your own accounts while managing others
  • Comply with all NOV Company and HSE policies and procedures.


EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE QUALIFICATIONS
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in Sales/Marketing with Tuboscope OR Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Sales/Marketing or a related field OR equivalent industry experience
  • Excellent Communication skills
  • Proficient in all Microsoft Office / Windows based systems (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Etc.)
  • Experienced, highly motivated, and innovative individual eager to seek out, manage, and create new opportunities for the organization
  • Proven ability to build relationships and influence decision-makers at multiple levels in customer organizations
  • Prior experience managing sales and/or selling drilling, completion, and/or production equipment and services.

JOB REQUIREMENTS
  • To have existing customer relationships within the assigned territory
  • Willingness to travel infrequently throughout Texas / New Mexico where Drilling and Production activity exists
  • Valid driver's license and ability to meet company driving requirements.


TECHNICAL COMPETENCIES
  • Strong understanding of drilling and production operations, equipment, and services.
  • Ability to employ Value-driven sales techniques through Self and Sales Reps
  • Technical aptitude to uncover customers' field level problems, challenges, and pain points, understand how those align with Tuboscope solutions, then transfer into booked jobs / revenue
