Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in engineering from an accredited university required.
• Minimum 5 years of oil and gas experience and at least 3 years in direct wellwork (Permian preferred).
• Self-motivated and able to work in multi-discipline teams.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills; able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Willingness to travel to well locations as needed.
• Proficient in MS Office and Wellview; knowledge of analytics tools like Spotfire or PowerBI is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design and plan wellwork operations, including remedial workovers and plug and abandonment.
• Collaborate with Production Engineering for cost and scope evaluations.
• Develop procedures and input designs for artificial lift systems.
• Coordinate with Operations for rig scheduling and execution support.
• Engage with contractors and suppliers regarding costs and equipment readiness.
• Monitor and improve wellwork operations efficiency; track daily costs and recommend changes.
• Assist in forecasting wellwork spend and preparing budgets.
