Join Trane Technologies as a Weld Manufacturing Engineer in La Crosse, WI! In this role, you will operate innovative engineered systems and develop, coordinate, and implement sustainable manufacturing production processes. Your cross-functional team will be focused on delivering quality, safety, and operational efficiency improvements.

What you will do:
  • Provide timely resolution of manufacturing process and product design problems, including investigations, statistical studies, and corrective action planning.
  • Be the subject matter expert in weld processes within the plant engineering group.
  • Create cost-effective and safe manufacturing processes, equipment, and tools to improve manufacturing operations.
  • Design manufacturing flow lines, workstation layouts, and station controls that optimize efficiency, operating costs, and product quality.
  • Uphold manufacturing standards including machine capability, process maps, set-ups, quality controls, tooling and fixture records, routings, and cycle times.
  • Generate work instructions, job breakdowns, and standardized work to ensure quality at the source meets product and manufacturing specifications given local needs.
  • Serve as a voice of the customer for input for new design development.
  • Partner with on-site EHS (Environment, Health, and Safety) to ensure all equipment meets safety regulations compliant with OSHA (Occupational Safety and Health Administration).
