Job PurposeIn this role, you will be responsible for improving Welding manufacturing efficiency, cost, product quality, and worker safety by analyzing current methods, new methods, new technologies and cost reduction activities involved with Lean principles and activities.
Key Responsibilities- Drive process related improvements to support key plant metrics related to safety, quality, & efficiency using lean manufacturing tools
- Develops performance indicators to measure plant and equipment capacity output and identify equipment and process flow bottlenecks (manual & robotic welding)
- Provide technical support to install new systems and capital equipment on time, within cost constraints and the production forecast.
- Resolves technical problems and recommends production improvement
- Strong knowledge of welded part dimensioning, GD&T, & corresponding tooling features
- Work with operators, vendors and tool designers to develop tooling designs and actual tools within provided quality and cost constraints.
- Other related duties as assigned
Experience RequiredA Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering or Mechanical Engineering or other technical discipline. In lieu of degree will consider 4+ years direct manufacturing experience and proficiency in the duties outlined above.
Pay TransparencyThe annual salary for this role is USD $72,750.00 - $106,700.00 plus any applicable bonus (Actual salaries will vary and will be based on various factors, such as skill, experience and qualification for the role.)
