Full Job Description
We're looking for someone who understands that a website is more than just content. It's a sales tool, a brand experience, and a conversion engine.

This role is responsible for managing and improving the overall effectiveness of our web experience across both our primary website and inherited venue websites from acquisitions. You'll manage front-end content in Sanity, maintain high standards for accuracy and UX, and use data to continuously improve lead generation performance.

While writing and editing are part of the role, the focus is broader: improving the full site experience including page structure, conversion flow, SEO performance, photo/video selection, and testing. We're looking for someone who is analytical, technically capable, and highly performance-minded. Candidates with backend development experience or stronger technical skills will stand out significantly.

Principal Duties & Responsibilities

Website Experience & Content Management

  • Manage day-to-day website updates across venue pages, landing pages, forms, blogs, and core site pages in Sanity
  • Maintain strong QA standards including formatting, responsiveness, links, metadata, and accessibility basics
  • Audit and improve outdated, redundant, or underperforming content
  • Build and update pages using existing templates and modules

Lead Generation & Conversion Optimization

  • Improve the inquiry-to-tour customer journey through stronger UX, messaging, and reduced friction
  • Use analytics to identify drop-off points and opportunities for conversion improvement
  • Test and optimize headlines, layouts, CTAs, forms, and content hierarchy
  • Run structured experiments and track performance learnings over time

SEO & AI Discoverability

  • Optimize pages for SEO best practices including metadata, internal linking, alt text, and page structure
  • Create content that performs well in AI-driven search experiences (AEO/GEO), including FAQs and structured content
  • Monitor tools like Google Search Console to identify visibility and search performance opportunities

Acquired Website Support

  • Maintain and improve inherited venue websites on platforms such as WordPress and Wix
  • Apply consistent standards for UX, SEO, brand voice, and conversion-focused page structure
  • Support ongoing improvement and upgrade plans for acquired sites

Technical & Cross-Functional Support

  • Partner with Creative, Performance Marketing, and Development teams to launch updates cleanly
  • Troubleshoot front-end content and layout issues using HTML/CSS knowledge
  • Strong candidates may also assist with backend support, templates/modules, redirects, or light development work

What We're Looking For

  • Experience managing website content and user experience in a CMS environment
  • Strong understanding of UX, conversion optimization, and lead generation strategy
  • Experience with SEO best practices and emerging AI search trends
  • Strong analytical mindset and attention to detail
  • Excellent written communication skills
  • Comfortable working cross-functionally in a fast-moving environment
  • Experience with Sanity CMS is a plus
  • Experience with WordPress or Wix is a plus
  • HTML/CSS proficiency required; backend development experience is a major plus

Pay Rate: $83,000 - 87,000

Plus performance based quarterly bonus

Full Time/Benefits Eligible

Location: Remote/Hybrid (Southern California preferred)

The important extras:
  • As is typical in the hospitality industry, this position requires regular availability to work evening, weekend, and holiday shifts, as well as shifts of more than 8 hours and workweeks of more than 40 hours.
