Are you an experienced geotechnical construction professional looking to take the next step in your career? Webber, an industry leader in construction and infrastructure, is seeking a driven and knowledgeable Drill Shaft Superintendent to join our growing team and lead the successful execution of complex geotechnical projects.

Your Role: Leading Safe, Efficient, and High-Quality Geotechnical Operations

As a Drill Shaft Superintendent, you will be responsible for overseeing the overall construction operations of assigned geotechnical projects. This role serves as a key leader in the field, ensuring projects are completed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with project schedules, budgets, and quality standards. You will coordinate labor, equipment, suppliers, and self-performed work while partnering closely with project management and safety teams to drive successful project outcomes.

What You Will Do:
  • Champion a culture of safety by partnering with Safety and Project Management teams to support and enforce company policies, procedures, and best practices.
  • Manage field crews, monitor job progress, resolve issues, and maintain quality and safety controls throughout project execution.
  • Support project planning and execution by implementing effective means and methods for drilled shaft and geotechnical construction activities.
  • Oversee field productivity, cost control, quality assurance, and scheduling to ensure projects remain on track and within budget.
  • Coordinate with project and field management teams to proactively address schedule and cost concerns.
  • Participate in project startup and closeout meetings and provide regular updates on project status and challenges.
  • Ensure proper operation, maintenance, and utilization of drilled shaft equipment and resources.
  • Communicate and enforce company policies and procedures with field personnel and subcontractors.
  • Lead by example through professionalism, accountability, decisive decision-making, and positive team leadership.

Who You Are: A Profile of Success
  • 10+ years of experience in drilled shaft construction.
  • Strong understanding of drilled shaft construction methods, specifications, procedures, equipment, and maintenance practices.
  • Proven ability to build and maintain strong working relationships with teams, clients, and stakeholders.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving and organizational skills.
