Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Collaborate in agile teams to design and develop responsive, dynamic web applications
Analyze requirements, determine technical approach and technical design, estimate effort, and determine milestone dates for new websites, redesigns, new features, and enhancements
Mentor and provide technical guidance to the web development team, assign development tasks, perform code reviews, remove roadblocks, and strive to improve processes
Research and prototype emerging web technologies, share knowledge, and evangelize recommendations for improvements to and optimizations of the web application interface
Quickly learn and apply new technologies to develop products and features
Troubleshoot and collaborate with support team to resolve web-based production errors

Qualifications
Required Experience
Minimum of 5 years of front-end web development experience
Expert knowledge of front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript)
Experience with web & object-oriented programming technologies
Experience building applications which consume web services
Expert with W3C standards & browser compatibility best practices
Background with object-oriented JavaScript techniques
Knowledge of performance optimization of web applications
