Overview

The Wealth Management Associate Portfolio Manager supports the construction and ongoing management of discretionary investment portfolios for high-net-worth individuals and institutional clients. This role works under the guidance of Director, Portfolio Management and contributes to portfolio implementation, monitoring, client reporting, and investment analysis. The position partners closely with Private Bankers, Trust Officers, and senior investment team members to support client relationship activities and deliver a high-quality wealth management experience.

What You'll Do

  • Assist in the design, construction, and maintenance of client investment portfolios in alignment with stated objectives and risk tolerances.
  • Support portfolio rebalancing, trade execution, and cash management activities under Director, Portfolio Management direction.
  • Prepare investment reviews, performance reports, and client presentation materials.
  • Monitor portfolio performance and market conditions; escalate observations and recommendations to Director, Portfolio Management
  • Participate in client meetings and relationship review sessions as a supporting team member.
  • Collaborate with Private Bankers, Trust Officers, and other internal in a support and sales capacity.
  • Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements, internal policies, and investment guidelines.
  • Conduct market, economic, and investment research to support portfolio decisions.Maintain accurate documentation and client records in accordance with company standards.
  • Participate in ongoing professional development and in with purpose of visibility in the community and prospects.
  • Compliance Training: Participate in all required compliance training, including Bank Secrecy Act/anti-money laundering training, as well as internal and external training programs, online training, meetings, and seminars/conferences, etc.

Requirements For Success

Education:
  • Undergraduate degree in business, finance, economics, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Progress toward professional designations such as CFA, CIMA, CFP, or MBA preferred


Experience:
  • Two to four years of investment management, investment advisory, trust, or related financial services experience
  • Required Skills:
    • Foundational knowledge of investment strategies, asset allocation, and portfolio construction.
    • Working knowledge of performance measurement concepts and investment reporting.
    • Strong analytical, quantitative, verbal, and written communication skills.
    • Ability to build effective working relationships with internal partners and clients.

  • Preferred Skills:
    • Familiarity with systems used to evaluate investment performance.

USD $68,287.00 - USD $113,209.00 /Yr.
