Water/Wastewater Senior Project Manager - Boise, Idaho

At AE2S, we don't just design systems - we solve complex challenges. From innovative new Water Resource Recovery Facilities (WRRFs) to technical upgrades and capacity expansions, our portfolio spans a wide range of transformative projects. As a Water/WastewaterSenior Project Manager, you will play a key leadership role in project delivery and client relationship development, specifically supportingAE2S' Idaho operations. Working in close collaboration with multidisciplinary teams across AE2S geographies and under the guidance of the Wastewater Practice Leader, you'll be instrumental in driving both project success and business development efforts.

Responsibilities
  • Serve as a technical guidance, senior leadership, and mentor for junior engineers within the Wastewater Practice to empower the team.
  • Perform a variety of team roles within project delivery (project management, QA/QC, and performing) as they relate to wastewater.
  • Responsible for scope, schedule, budget development, monitoring and adherence for projects managed to provide extreme client services to build lasting relationships.
  • Grow market and technical presence within the region through working with the AE2S team to prioritize client pursuits, build client relationships, provide client management, identify opportunities, and support competitive proposal pursuits.

Qualifications

Basic Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or related field
  • Registration as a Professional Engineer or ability to obtain within 6 months
  • 15+ years consulting experience in wastewater treatment
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to travel as required for project/client responsibilities and business development
  • Ability to work remotely and manage projects, clients, and project team members
  • Prior project management experience
  • All applicants must be able to complete pre-employment onboarding requirements (if selected) which may include any/all of the following: criminal/civil background check, drug screen, and motor vehicle records search, in compliance with any applicable laws and regulations

Preferred Qualifications

  • Proven client relationships
  • Knowledge of design standards and permitting
  • Knowledge of Colorado funding programs
Physical Qualifications
  • Ability to walk up to 3-miles on uneven terrain
  • Ability to stand or sit for prolonged periods of time
  • Occasionally climb, stoop, bend, kneel, crouch, reach, and twist
  • Occasionally lift, carry, push, and pull light to moderate amounts of weight
  • May require lifting and carrying up to 20 pounds, with rare lifting of up to 50 pounds
  • Ability to inspect equipment, structures, or materials to identify the cause of errors or other problems or defects.
  • May be required to wear Personal Protection Equipment (PPE) including but not limited to, flame resistant clothing, hard hat, and protective footwear
  • May require occasional evenings and weekends with overtime expectations varying with workload
  • May be required to travel to off-site locations including occasional overnight stays out of town
