Overview

Parkhill is seeking a talented Civil Project Manager to join our esteemed Treatment sector. As part of our dynamic team, you'll be integral to every stage of project development, from initial concept to final construction. Your role will involve close collaboration with team members and clients to design treatment projects aimed at enhancing our communities. We're in search of a dedicated team player with a sharp eye for detail to contribute to our community-focused mission. Join us in making a positive impact through thoughtful design and innovation. This is a full-time, exempt position paid on a salary basis.

 

Responsibilities
  • Oversee engineering efforts from design through construction on a variety of civil engineering treatment projects.
  • Conduct site visits and assessments.
  • Participate in meetings with clients to understand their project needs and preferences.
  • Develop design concepts and proposals, creating detailed drawings and specifications.
  • Collaborate with engineers, architects and other consultants.
  • Present designs to clients and stakeholders for feedback and approval.
  • Explore new design concepts, incorporating emerging technologies.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Professional engineer registration in TX with ability to get in NM & OK.
  • At least 4 years of experience in civil design - Water and Wastewater Treatment design preferred.
  • Experience with software including AutoCAD, Civil 3D and ArcGIS is preferred.
  • Knowledge of civil engineering practices, principles and keep up with the ever-changing industry trends.
  • Detailed understanding of engineering project management methods with the ability to plan a project start to finish, taking into account time, cost and resources.
  • Maintaining a high level of organization to maximize business hours to achieve a solid life balance and to strategically prioritize tasks.
  • Excellent analytical skills to evaluate their observations to design a system that will withstand the elements on the installation site.
  • Must be able to work in a collaborative environment with non-Engineer decision makers and be able to communicate plans.
