Are you ready to join our New Jersey team as the new Water/Wastewater Project Manager?  We have offices in Parsippany, Mount Laurel, and Bloomfield. Your typical projects involve pump station design, inflow and infiltration studies, hydraulic modeling, collection system condition assessment and design, water distribution and storage, with potential opportunities to engage on treatment projects. Your responsibility will not be limited to technical, project management, and market access responsibilities to lead water / wastewater design projects for municipal and private clients.  You’ll work with peers on other water/wastewater practitioners throughout the company to manage a range of civil engineering projects for both public sector utility and private clients (water and wastewater).  With support from the enterprise, successful you will be capable of participating in business development activities, pursuing new clients and potential project leads, preparing proposals and preparing price proposals and contracts.

Responsibilities
  • Management of water and wastewater design projects.
  • Pump station design and rehabilitation, collection system condition assessment and design, inflow and infiltration studies, collection system rehabilitation, hydraulic modeling, water distribution and storage, with potential opportunities to engage on treatment projects.
  • Performs technical discipline tasks including research, reports, design, specifications, and plan preparation to ensure the most efficient and cost-effective execution of assigned projects.
  • Lead and facilitate engineering design staff.
  • Work with design team across multiple offices and multiple disciplines to generate detailed design documents for construction plans.
  • Serves as the primary client liaison, meet client deadlines and project budgets.
  • Participate in business development activities including collaborating with our team in the marketing of new projects, proposal preparation, and client relationship management.
Required Skills & Required Experience
  • Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
  • NJ Professional Engineering license.
  • 10-15 years of related experience.
  • Specific experience preparing reports and design plans and specifications for water and wastewater system projects in NY and NJ, including pump stations, tanks, and pipelines.
  • A successful track record of managing projects, including scope, schedule and budget.
  • Water/Wastewater treatment experience is a plus.
  • Driving is a requirement of the position. A clean driving record is required.

The projected range for this position in the following locations are:

  • Mt. Laurel, NJ: $116,463-$149,738
  • Parsippany, NJ: $114,975-$147,825
  • Bloomfield, NJ: $114,975-$147,825

Depending upon other factors, i.e., skills, experience, location, market conditions, the range may vary slightly.
