We are currently looking for a Water Resources Project Engineer to join our team and to provide support to projects related Infrastructure, Municipal, Highway, Transit, etc.

You will have the opportunity to take part in our hybrid work model that includes flexible work hours, working from home and in the office. Travel to various sites may be required from time to time according to project requirements.

This role is based in our Mississauga office.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Prepares hydrologic and hydraulic models for Municipal, Road, Highway, Rail and Transit projects
  • Prepares technical reports and memorandums
  • Develops and/or supervise the creation of engineering products that meet client quality requirements
  • Coordinates drainage requirements for interdisciplinary analytical studies and analyses
  • Completes field assessments, analysis and evaluations as required
  • Manages regulatory applications and approvals
  • Provides support for construction activities as Project Engineer or Contract Administrator
  • Assists with proposal preparation and business development


Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil engineering with a specialization in water resources engineering. Postgraduate Degree in Water Resources would be an asset.
  • 7+ years of water resources engineering experience, preferably in an engineering consulting environment.
  • License Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) from PEO. Candidates who are in the process of obtaining their P.Eng. license or are nearing completion of the requirements may also be considered.
  • Strong understanding of water resources engineering principles.
  • Must have good knowledge and experience in modelling such as PCSWMM, Visual OTTHYMO, HEC-RAS, Culvert Master, and Hy-8
  • Familiarity with programming, databases and GIS is an asset.
  • Good knowledge of AutoCAD and Civil 3D
