OverviewThe Regional Water Resources Practice Leader combines technical expertise in water resources engineering with practice-building, team leadership, and client development. The leader will represent the firm to clients, partners, and industry organizations while ensuring excellence in project delivery and strategic growth.
Responsibilities
- Develop and lead the Central Texas Water Resources practice
- Serve as Senior Project Manager or Project Principal on major water resources projects, providing technical oversight
- Partner with Parkhill’s Marketing and Business Development teams to create and execute a regional business development plan aligned with the Civil Engineering division strategy
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with clients, partners, and industry leaders
- Collaborate across office locations to leverage Parkhill’s collective water resources expertise
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in civil engineering from an accredited university
- Licensed Professional Civil Engineer (PE) in Texas
- Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in Water Resources and/or water/wastewater treatment
- Experience working with state, regional, and/pr public agencies – municipalities, water districts, river authorities, counties, and/or state agencies
- Expert level knowledge of environmental regulations and workplace safety regulations
- Proven success in practice growth, client development, and business acquisition
- Excellent leadership, communication, and relationship management skills
