Basic Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Supply Chain Management, Engineering or closely related field - Minimum of 8 years of experience in purchasing or a related field - Strong understanding of global commodity strategy development and supplier relationship management - Strong negotiation skills and the ability to think and act strategically - Well organized, self-motivated, and resourceful managing complex situations - Comfortable in a fast-paced environment and can effectively interface with cross functional teams and all levels of senior management - Strong communication and commodity leadership skills - Excellent analytical and presentation skills - Ability to understand basic technical topics - Self-motivated with strong interpersonal skills to establish partnerships both internally and externally to influence without direct authority Preferred Qualifications: - Master's degree - Automotive purchasing experience - Data analysis experience - Finance/accounting experience
