Warehouse SupervisorReporting to the Materials Manager, the
Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of receipt of goods, material handling between manufacturing cells and warehouse, and the shipping of product. This role will be located in
Wood Dale, Illinois, and will be
onsite.
In this role, a typical day will look like: - Ensure timely and accurate receipt, storage, and distribution of raw materials and finished goods.
- Monitor the loading and unloading of trucks, ensuring proper handling, documentation, and storage of products.
- Supervise and coordinate activities of the material handlers to enable manufacturing cells to have their raw material when it's needed.
- Maintain accurate records for inventory, shipments, and material moving throughout the warehouse.
- Responsible for cycle counts, inventory adjustments, and inventory accuracy for the facility.
- Oversee the safe operation and maintenance of forklifts, pallet jacks, cherry picker, and other material handling equipment.
- Collaborate with other departments (such as logistics, buyer/planners, global procurement, and production) to ensure efficient workflow.
- Develop and enforce standard operating procedures to optimize workflow and maximize efficiency.
- Train, develop, and evaluate shipping and receiving staff; promote a culture of safety, positive engagement, and continuous improvement.
The essential requirements of the job include: - Associate's or bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain management, or related field preferred.
- 5+ years of experience in warehouse operations, with at least 1 year in a supervisory or lead role.
- Knowledge of using an ERP system and basic computer skills.
- Ability to lift and move objects up to 50lbs and operate warehouse equipment (forklifts, pallet jacks, etc).
- Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in warehouse operations.

An associate's position within the salary range will be based on several factors, including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, shift, travel requirements, sales or revenue-based metrics, any collective bargaining agreements, and business or organizational needs.
The compensation range for this role is $80000 - $95000 USD per year. This job is also eligible for Bonus Pay.
