Job Description:The
Warehouse Supervisor (Logistics) is responsible for leading day-to-day warehouse logistics operations in a semiconductor manufacturing environment. This role supervises a team of shipping, receiving, and material handling employees to ensure accurate, timely, and compliant movement of materials supporting production and customer deliveries.
This position focuses on execution of established processes, safety and quality compliance, and team performance, consistent with a first-line management role. The supervisor provides direction to employees based on defined policies and procedures and supports operational efficiency and continuous improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:- Supervise daily shipping, receiving, and warehouse operations, including inbound receipts, material storage, picking, packing, and outbound shipments.
- Lead, coach, and monitor a team of warehouse associates; assign daily tasks and manage performance and attendance.
- Ensure accuracy of inventory transactions, shipping documentation, and system records (ERP/WMS).
- Oversee kitting activities (pick-to-kit), staging, and timely material delivery to production; ensure kits are complete, correctly labeled, and built to current work instructions/BOM.
- Manage material shortages and substitutions by coordinating with Planning/Procurement and escalating constraints that impact production schedules.
- Ensure inbound receiving includes proper identification, labeling, and system transactions (barcode scanning, lot/serial traceability, and dock-to-stock execution).
- Enforce compliance with safety standards, including forklift operations, hazardous materials handling, and workplace safety protocols.
- Ensure adherence to semiconductor-specific handling requirements (e.g., ESD controls, cleanliness, material traceability).
- Monitor key operational metrics such as on-time shipment, inventory accuracy, dock-to-stock cycle time, and productivity.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams (Production, Planning, Procurement, Quality) to meet manufacturing and customer requirements.
- Escalate operational issues (shortages, delays, discrepancies) and support problem resolution.
- Support cycle counting, inventory audits, and discrepancy investigations.
- Maintain clean, organized, and efficient warehouse operations aligned to 5S and lean principles.
- Participate in hiring, onboarding, and training of new warehouse employees.
- Maintain accurate documentation of warehouse activities, incidents, and performance metrics.
- Control suspect, nonconforming, or quarantine material (hold locations, identification/labels, and disposition); coordinate with Quality on investigations and corrective actions.

Pay Range:$71,400.00 - $93,660.00
Pay Range Explained:This role in Livermore, California pays between $71,400.00 and $93,660.00 per year, depending on your experience, skills, and background. Pay may vary in other locations.
