  • Directly oversee Distribution Associates including recruitment, training, and performance appraisal completion.
  • Develop a motivated team and facilitate promotions and participation in Key-Op programs.
  • Coordinate on-site training that aligns with facility and employee onboarding needs.
  • Lead continuous improvement projects and maintain Standard Work Instructions.
  • Build positive relationships with dealers and vendors to enhance customer service levels.
  • Participate in special assignments and be available for travel.

Full Job Description
Requisition Summary
The Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for the direct supervision of warehouse personnel. In addition, they will coordinate all distribution center functions and perform continuous improvement projects to attain high safety, production and quality standards.

Location: Morrow, GA

Shift: 2nd Shift

Job Functions/Responsibilities
  • Manage labor/equipment plans for a given functional area assuring key production objectives are met with world-class safety, quality, productivity and customer service.
  • Direct management of Distribution Associates including recruiting, hiring, training and development. Responsible for the accuracy and timely completion of performance appraisals. Provides effective coaching and feedback on a regular basis to direct reports.
  • Build a motivated, effective team and initiate personnel actions, including promotions, and sponsor Key-Op program participants with support from the Assistant Distribution Center Manager.
  • Assist in coordination of on-site training/support with current network Supervisors and Associates that aligns with facility setup needs and employee onboarding needs.
  • Work with team to develop and implement continuous improvement projects and effectively manage through change. Maintain Standard Work Instructions for processes.
  • Build positive relationships with dealers as well as vendors to improve the overall service level for our customers.
  • Participate in special assignments/projects; available for travel


Qualifications
Required:
  • Bachelor's degree in a business, logistics, engineering field or related area required. Master's degree desired.
  • Distribution or manufacturing experience required. Engineering / Mechanical aptitude is a plus.
  • Willing to work 2nd shift operating hours if needed.

Desired:
  • 2 years of leadership experience, PACCAR experience preferred.
  • Demonstrated abilities in leadership, problem solving, and change management.
  • Highly organized, self-motivated and able to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Intermediate to advanced PC skills required: MS Access, MSWord, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint.

Salary Range:

At PACCAR, we value talent and promote growth and development. We carefully consider numerous compensation factors including your education, training, or experience. The salary range for this position is $67,800 - $101,700 annually. Additionally, this role is eligible for the full range of benefit options listed above.
