Role Purpose StatementThe Materials Logistics/Supply Chain Manager is responsible for all supply chain and materials management metrics for the CSC's in assigned region, driving continuous improvement , end to end inventory oversight-from forecasting through delivery-ensuring operational efficiency, cost control, and regulatory compliance. You will also manage production planning, annual spend for perishable food and materials, SKUs, food cost variance, purchasing, SOP development, customer relations, and a team of 10 employees.
Ideal candidates bring strong hands on food knowledge, a solid understanding of HACCP and regulatory standards, proven leadership capabilities, and expertise in purchasing, materials management, and production planning.Main AccountabilitiesHow You'll Elevate Our Team- Oversee all inventory management functions, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and financial stewardship.
- Lead a team of warehouse professionals through coaching, training, and performance development.
- Ensure excellent execution of receiving, storage, requisitioning, and distribution processes.
- Implement enterprise-wide supply chain policies and ensure consistent execution across the region.
- Drive achievement of annual quality, cost, and delivery goals.
- Ensure customer and company-owned materials are managed efficiently from receipt to production.
- Optimize par levels and order quantities based on airline specifications, menu cycles, and vendor lead times.
- Maintain full compliance with USDA, FDA, OSHA, and other regulatory standards.
- Conduct facility and equipment inspections to ensure safety, quality, and operational readiness
Knowledge, Skills and ExperienceWhat We Look for in a Candidate- Deep knowledge of inventory, warehouse operations, and material handling best practices
- Strong background in demand planning, forecasting, and vendor management
- Solid understanding of Lean principles and modern supply chain methodologies
- Proven ability to set a vision and turn it into actionable, measurable results
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills at all levels
- High proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and SAP MM
- Exceptional analytical and conceptual problem-solving skills
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, or related discipline or equivalent experience
- At least 8 years of hands-on operational leadership in supply chain or materials management
- Track record of leading change, transforming processes, and building strong teams in complex, fast-paced environments
Experience
Bachelor's degree in supply chain, logistics or equivalent experience required
In addition, minimum eight years directly related operational experience related to managing a supply chain
Experience in SAP MM required
Proven experience in forecasting, demand planning and vendor management
Proven experience in lean manufacturing and supply chain management leadership roles
Proven success in implementation of redesigned processes, leading change and role models positive behaviors as well as change agent skills in a complex and fast paced environment
