About the RoleAs a Warehouse Manager you'll provide leadership, direction, and accountability for all logistics operations, including inbound receiving, warehousing, inventory management, material supply to manufacturing, outbound distribution, and direct-to-consumer fulfillment. This role leads a team of approximately 20 employees and is responsible for developing people, creating accountability, improving performance, and ensuring logistics operations safely and effectively support customer requirements, manufacturing needs, and business priorities.
The Warehouse Manager establishes clear expectations, develops employee capability, drives operational excellence, and leads continuous improvement initiatives that improve service, efficiency, inventory accuracy, and overall department performance. This position works closely with Production, Quality, Planning, Customer Service, and Operations leadership to ensure reliable execution while building a culture of ownership, teamwork, safety, and results.
What You'll DoLeadership and Team Development
- Lead, coach, and develop a team of approximately 20 logistics employees responsible for receiving, warehousing, inventory movement, material handling, shipping, and fulfillment activities.
- Establish clear expectations, priorities, performance standards, and accountability throughout the department.
- Build employee capability through coaching, training, performance feedback, and development planning.
- Foster a culture of ownership, teamwork, communication, safety, and continuous improvement.
- Partner with Human Resources and Operations leadership on hiring, employee development, performance management, and succession planning.
Logistics Operations
- Lead day-to-day execution of inbound receiving, warehouse operations, inventory control, material movement, outbound shipping, and direct-to-consumer fulfillment.
- Ensure materials and finished goods are received, stored, moved, and shipped accurately and efficiently.
- Ensure reliable material supply to manufacturing through effective staging, replenishment, and inventory management practices.
- Maintain inventory accuracy through disciplined transaction management, warehouse controls, and process adherence.
- Ensure customer orders are fulfilled accurately, on time, and in accordance with customer requirements and service expectations.
Operational Excellence and Continuous Improvement
- Establish, monitor, and improve departmental KPIs and performance metrics.
- Identify operational gaps and implement sustainable corrective actions that improve service, efficiency, and execution.
- Lead initiatives that improve material flow, warehouse organization, space utilization, labor productivity, inventory accuracy, and fulfillment performance.
- Use operational data and trends to drive decisions and improve department effectiveness.
- Create and maintain standard processes that support consistency, accountability, and operational reliability.
Safety, Quality, and Compliance
- Ensure compliance with GMP, safety, quality, and regulatory requirements.
- Maintain warehouse areas in an organized, inspection-ready condition through adherence to established standards and procedures.
- Lead investigations and corrective actions related to safety incidents, inventory discrepancies, service failures, and operational issues.
- Promote a culture where safety, quality, and compliance are non-negotiable expectations.

- Achieves and sustains departmental performance targets for inventory accuracy, order fulfillment accuracy, shipping performance, material availability, and productivity.
- Ensures production operations receive required materials on time with minimal disruptions to manufacturing schedules.
- Delivers customer orders accurately and on time while maintaining expected service levels.
- Builds a highly engaged and accountable team through effective leadership, coaching, communication, and performance management.
- Reduces recurring operational issues through effective root-cause analysis, corrective action, and continuous improvement.
- Implements process improvements that improve warehouse efficiency, material flow, labor utilization, service performance, and operational reliability.
- Creates clear ownership and accountability for departmental priorities, resulting in measurable improvements in execution and business results.

Preferred Qualifications- 5+ years of progressive leadership experience in logistics, warehousing, distribution, manufacturing, or supply chain operations.
- Demonstrated success leading teams and improving operational performance.
- Experience managing warehouse operations, inventory control, shipping, receiving, fulfillment, or material handling functions.
- Experience utilizing ERP, WMS, inventory management, or related operational systems.
- Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
- Experience in GMP-regulated manufacturing environments preferred.
- Working knowledge of applicable industry regulations, inventory management practices, and operational improvement methodologies
Compensation & BenefitsThe target salary range for this role is $80,000 - $100,000. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
