Qualifications

• 3-5 years of relevant experience; bachelor's degree preferred.
• Familiarity with OSHA and transportation regulations.
• Experience with ELD systems required.
• Capacity to lift weights from 25kg to over 55 lbs. regularly and work at heights of up to 26 feet.
• Strong leadership and organizational skills.
• Willingness to work flexible hours in a hands-on role.
• Knowledge of safety protocols in accordance with occupational health and safety legislation.
• Proficiency in handling order pickers, counterbalance forklifts, reach trucks, and pump trucks.

Responsibilities

• Ensure Bunzl Daily Best Practices are consistently executed.
• Lead daily cycle counts, activity walks, and empty-bin checks.
• Drive improvements in key performance indicators and hold staff accountable.
• Oversee recruitment, onboarding, and training for warehouse personnel.
• Conduct performance reviews and foster employee development.
• Collaborate with HR on employee relations and performance management.
• Optimize delivery processes and enhance driver productivity.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment.
• Oversee safety training compliance and assist with workers' compensation processes.
• Audit documentation for accuracy and adherence to regulations.
• Ensure compliance with transportation regulations related to driver logs and accident documentation.
• Provide coaching and conduct performance management activities.
• Administer ERP reporting related to performance metrics and accuracy.
• Manage warehouse equipment maintenance and repairs.
