Warehouse Inventory Manager
We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Inventory Control Manager with exceptional skills who is ready to be a game changer for our growing business. In this role, you will ensure the physical cycle counts are performed, accurate inventory levels are maintained, and account for all defective or damaged products, and provide corrective action. The right candidate will have a continuous improvement mindset and a tendency towards 5S in the workplace.
As a 3PL provider, we will count on your leadership skills to help drive excellent service for our valued customer.
How you create impact- You will be accountable for the success of the inventory function and customer satisfaction
- Lead an inventory team, train and motivate staff, evaluate and guide their performance, and nurture their professional development
- Support leadership and Human Resources to ensure DEI (Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion) programs are embraced and valued
- Identify new techniques and analytics to improve the overall planning process
- Lead the annual cost planning process ensuring accuracy and transparency
- Oversee and monitor discrepancies via cycle counts and adjustments
- Implement loss prevention programs to reduce shrinkage and minimize risk
- Build a recovery program to ensure all defective product is accounted for and handled properly
- Promote accountability and process improvement based on goals; create action plans and issue resolution tracking
- Create Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for all inventory roles
- Create all necessary reports and documentation to ensure inventory accuracy
- Drive accountability and process improvement based on KPIs (Key Performance Indicators) and targets, including creating action plans and issue resolution tracking
What we would like you to bring- Bachelor's degree in supply chain or related field, or equivalent work experience
- 7+ years of experience in a distribution environment
- 5+ years in an inventory role
- 3+ years in a leadership position
- 3+ years of WMS (Warehouse Management System) experience
- Certified in Production and Inventory Management (CPIM) is a plus
