Full Job Description
Hudson River Trading (HRT) is seeking a highly organized and experienced Warehouse Manager to oversee all aspects of inventory management, logistics, and hardware ordering. In this role, you will implement new inventory tracking systems, perform full audits, manage shipping queues, and coordinate orders for large-scale infrastructure projects.

The ideal candidate will be instrumental in ensuring the smooth flow of hardware and materials, supporting both immediate operational needs and future initiatives, including server staging and allocations.

Responsibilities
  • Inventory Management: Implement methods for tracking incoming orders and outgoing materials, conduct a full audit of all existing inventory, and maintain accurate records while holding the datacenter teams accountable for updates.
  • Ordering & Procurement: Build and automate a system to trigger orders when inventory thresholds are met, and place orders for specific large projects (such as new builds, migrations, and reorgs) based on Bill of Materials (BOMs) provided by engineers.
  • Shipping and Logistics: Manage inbound and outbound shipping queue, own shipment preparations, tracking and ensure correct documentation, paperwork and processes for export and import are fulfilled. work with the procurement team to ensure smooth logistics and operations end to end.
  • Compliance: Develop familiarity with international shipping standards and requirements.
  • Future Initiatives: Coordinate warehouse orders to improve day-to-day life, and manage larger logistics coordination, server build/retrofit requests, staging tasks, and NJ server allocations.

Qualifications
  • Minimum of 5 years of hands-on warehouse experience, preferably in the finance or tech sector with exposure to trading and infrastructure equipment.
  • Experience managing inventory, with bonus points for having helped implement an inventory system.
  • Basic understanding of computer and network hardware.
  • Experience placing orders and working with vendors.
  • Knowledge of or experience with network equipment, servers, server equipment, and cable types, or willingness to learn to help identify compatibility issues or proactively assist in requirements.
  • Familiarity with DCIM (Data Center Infrastructure Management) or willingness to integrate and operate with such a system.
  • Experience or willingness to operate a pallet lifter and scissor lift as needed.

The estimated base salary range for this position is 100,000 to 150,000 USD per year (or local equivalent). The base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. This role will also be eligible for discretionary performance-based bonuses and a competitive benefits package.
