Full Job Description
War Exercise Developer The Opportunity: Support Air Force wargaming as part of a collaborative team focused on the design, development, and execution of rapid-turn, small-scale wargames, Tabletop Exercises (TTXs), and related events. Inform Air Force senior leader decision-making. Contribute to scenario development, analytic framing, and post-event synthesis to ensure actionable insights. Engage with stakeholders across the Air Force to align wargame objectives with strategic priorities. Apply game-theoretic and design methodologies to create or refine exercise environments used to test hypotheses, assumptions, and constraints. Support execution of analytic exercises, wargames, tabletop sessions, workshops, and modeling events. Recommend appropriate stakeholder participation and ensure scenario validity. Develop technical program plans for experimentation campaigns, including functional baselines, schedules, cost estimates, and risk assessments. This position is located in Arlington, VA. You Have: • Experience supporting wargames, Tabletop Exercises (TTXs), or scenario-based analytic events, including notetaking, client management, facilitation support, or data synthesis • Experience supporting DoD or interagency stakeholders in operational, strategic, or analytic environments • Ability to engage confidently with various stakeholders in fast-paced settings • Ability to conduct independent research, develop materials, and contribute to analytic products with clarity and accuracy • Ability to manage people, delegate tasks, prioritize effectively, and work both independently and as part of a team • Ability to rapidly learn new methodologies, tools, and processes for wargaming and mission analysis • Ability to produce client-ready written products and support end-to-end event documentation • Top Secret clearance • Bachelor's degree Clearance: Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; Top Secret clearance is required. Compensation Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $77,600.00 to $176,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
