What You'll Do

As a General Manager, you will lead the overall performance and operations of the dealership while fostering a culture centered on people, accountability, and customer satisfaction:
  • Manage and maintain relationships with OEM's and manufacturer representitives of BMW and MINI.
  • Lead the daily, monthly, and annual performance of all dealership departments to ensure profitability, customer satisfaction, and operational excellence.
  • Hold regular management meetings to drive alignment, communication, and cross-functional collaboration.
  • Develop annual dealership operating plans and present them for approval.
  • Review departmental forecasts and financial performance to ensure alignment with overall business objectives.
  • Provide weekly business updates and ensure accurate and timely monthly financial statements.
  • Build and implement merchandising strategies and cost-effective marketing initiatives.
  • Maintain strong relationships with manufacturers, financial institutions, and internal partners.
  • Support and resolve escalated customer concerns while promoting a customer-first culture.
  • Oversee dealership appearance standards, administrative processes, and safety compliance.
  • Optimize sales, service, and parts operations in response to market conditions and business goals.
  • Manage budgets, monitor competition, and contribute to strategic growth initiatives.
  • Oversee operational controls, cash-flow-related assets, and sales contract compliance.
  • Drive employee development through coaching, performance evaluations, and leadership training.
  • Manage staffing needs, including hiring, scheduling, compensation administration, and performance management.
  • Partner with Human Resources to ensure compliance, address employee relations matters, and implement company initiatives.
  • Ensure Walser processes and customer experience standards are consistently executed across all departments.
  • Represent and communicate Walser's vision to employees, customers, and business partners.
  • Lead by example and foster an environment of growth, accountability, safety, and professionalism.
  • Perform additional duties, projects, and responsibilities as assigned.

  • Candidates must possess a valid driver's license and maintain an acceptable driving record.
