Responsibilities

Full Job Description
The Vice President of Transplant Froedtert ThedaCare leads the integration of the Solid Organ Transplantation service line for the Froedtert ThedaCare ensuring services drive a value proposition that is superior in the market and a strategy that extends across the continuum of care. Oversees key functions of the designated transplant programs of Froedtert Hospital (heart, lung, kidney, pancreas and liver) and Children's Hospital of Wisconsin (kidney and liver). Establishes relationships across transplant hospitals, the Medical College of Wisconsin, Organ Procurement Organization(s). Enhances existing transplant programs to achieve both the individual and mutually defined goals of the transplant hospitals and transplant center of excellence at large. Integrates compliance requirements set forth by the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) and the national Organ Procurement and Transplantation Network (OPTN) with growth and operational goals while maintaining high standards of service delivery. In a matrix environment, collaborates with clinical and administrative leadership to identify opportunities across both adult and pediatric care continuums to achieve desired outcomes in a complex interdisciplinary environment. Builds an effective partnership with operational, physician, ancillary and support leaders across the health system, ensuring shared goals, accountability, quality indicators and measurement standards are met while guiding the creation and growth of the designated service line programs.

Bachelors degree required, Masters degree in business or healthcare administration is preferred

A minimum of five years of experience in related service line area(s) is required, preferably in a major hospital, health system and/or teaching hospital setting.

Experience indicating the ability to develop and manage healthcare service line businesses, preferably in a highly matrix environment is required.
