Vice President, Technology Change ManagementReporting to: Anupam Agarwal, SVP, Global Sales & Services Technology (GSST)
Location: Stamford, CT (or Irving, TX, Ft Myers, FL)
Role Purpose The VP, Technology Change Management is accountable for leading the organizational change, product marketing, communications, and enablement efforts for all Sales and Services technology initiatives impacting 10K client facing associates. This leader will lead a global team to ensure that technology-driven initiatives are successfully adopted, deliver measurable value, and align with Gartner's strategic priorities. The VP will be a key advisor to the GSST and GSSO leadership teams, driving both short- and long-term change strategies across the global organization.
Key Responsibilities - Strategic Change & Enablement Leadership: Lead the end-to-end strategy for change management and enablement supporting Sales & Services CRM and AI/analytics initiatives.
- Product Marketing: Developing and execute strategies to position, promote, and drive adoption of technology products across Sales and Services
- Impact Assessment & Readiness: Conduct comprehensive impact analyses, assess change readiness, and partner with key stakeholders and business partners.
- Business Stakeholder Alignment: Work with key OC and OC-1 leaders as a trusted advisor across GTS, GBS and GS&D to prioritize technology initiatives and serve as a central point of contact for technology priorities.
- Technology process workflows: Help define technology process workflow to enable sales processed via technology capabilities.
- Enablement Program Design & Delivery: Develop and execute enablement frameworks, training programs, and learning solutions to drive adoption and maximize user capability, in partnership with BU Ops and L&D.
- Communications & Engagement: Partner with the Corporate Communications team to create and deliver integrated communication and engagement strategies to inform, align, and inspire stakeholders at all levels.
- Adoption & Value Measurement: Establish measurement frameworks to track adoption, proficiency, and business impact; leverage feedback loops to drive continuous improvement.
- Leading Level 1 Support: Oversee user support, design tech hypercare processes, and analyze support ticket trends to improve user experience.
- Strategic Planning and Leadership: Serve as a trusted advisor to the SVP and GSST/GSSO leadership, supporting strategic planning and cross-functional initiatives.
- Continuous Improvement: Foster a culture of simplification, business agility, and innovation, leveraging AI and analytics to streamline workflows and enhance productivity.
- Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team across Change Management, Communications, and Enablement.
Required Qualifications & Experience - Experience: 10+ years' progressive experience in business operations, transformation, enablement, or technology change management, with a proven track record of leading large-scale organizational change and enablement initiatives.
- Leadership: Demonstrated experience managing cross-functional teams and initiatives; front-line managerial experience in Sales or Service roles preferred.
- Change & Enablement Expertise: Knowledge of change management and enablement principles, methodologies, and tools (e.g., Prosci, ADKAR, Kirkpatrick); proven ability to manage complex change and capability-building programs.
- Product Marketing: Experience developing and executing strategies to position, promote, and drive adoption of technology products or initiatives.
- Project & Program Management: Exceptional project/program management skills; ability to manage ambiguity and drive results in a dynamic environment.
- Communication: Outstanding written and verbal communication skills; ability to craft and deliver executive-level messaging and facilitate alignment across diverse audiences.
- Collaboration: Strong business partner with the ability to influence and build consensus across functions and levels.
- Executive Presence: Adept at leading strategic conversations with senior leaders and external partners.
- Intellectual Curiosity: Demonstrates curiosity, agility, and a passion for continuous improvement.
- Education: Bachelor's degree required; MBA or advanced degree preferred.

Gartner believes in fair and equitable pay. A reasonable estimate of the base salary range for this role is 164,000 USD - 226,000 USD. Please note that actual salaries may vary within the range, or be above or below the range, based on factors including, but not limited to, education, training, experience, professional achievement, business need, and location. In addition to base salary, employees will participate in either an annual bonus plan based on company and individual performance, or a role-based, uncapped sales incentive plan.
