ROLE OVERVIEW As VP Technical Lead, AI Engineering, you will own and lead development and delivery across various generative AI product lines. We are looking for individuals who have worked end-to-end and have experience building and shipping data-heavy AI or software products. Success will require hands-on development skills as well as architectural experience related to systems design and data infrastructure. This is an individual contributor and technical leadership role reporting into the CTO.
PROJECTS- AI Agent Orchestrator: Multi-agent systems that automate tasks and streamline workflows, driving measurable improvements in operational efficiency.
- Human-in-the-Loop Collaboration: AI-powered co-pilot for advisors and other user personas, streamlining workflows across business workflows such as prospecting, conversion, onboarding, and client servicing.
- Data Infrastructure: Event streaming architecture to load data into a Customer Data Platform, optimization of data loading from a wide variety of data sources.
- Seamless Legacy Tech Integration: Designed to navigate and optimize legacy systems for streamlined operations with computer use models.
WHAT YOU'LL DO- Participate in architectural, design, and product sessions and be a crucial part of the decision-making process on overall technology direction
- Work closely with Product, Design, and other Devs to build customer-facing features
- Ensure delivery through technical leadership for AI engineering teams
- Manage technical optimization for maximum speed and scalability
- Identify, design, and implement internal process improvements: automating manual processes, optimizing data delivery, re-designing infrastructure for greater scalability, etc.
WHAT YOU'LL BRING- 5+ years of increasing responsibility as an individual contributor, project or technical leader in backend engineering roles
- Experience shipping AI or software products: developing and shipping highly scalable solutions designed to democratize data to everyone in an organization
- Track record of choosing the proper transit, storage, and analytical technology to simplify and optimize the user experience
- Hands on experience with various databases, designing and building ETL pipelines, coding in Python
- Resilience and adaptability - experience working at early-stage startups is a plus
COMPENSATION RANGE$150,000 - $200,000 USD
